At last, a PROPER pub. Lighting badly needs improving to make the nighttime interior more atmospheric and welcoming and itd be nice to have the excellent food more regularly but otherwise, the unassuming jewel in the Lowestoft crown
Really nice pub. Very interesting range of drinks, much more so than the average pub. Nice place to be, with a tiled floor and a lovely wood burning fire. Friendly service. Highly recommend.
Great staff, very friendly. Real ales, and a nice selection of them. They offer food, and have live music events. Great little pub.

Unfortunately my previous review was not an accurate reflection of my experience due to my phone "posting" my review just as I'd started!!!The Stanford Arms is a lovely pub, friendly staff, great variety of real ale, different and interesting menu and regular live music events!I so hope this rectifies my previous mistake!
