Agree with everything the other 1 star reviews have said. BE CAREFUL. This garage used to have a great reputation but since being taken over in 2012 is one to avoid. Total scam artists!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.. This is the second time we get scammed at this place . First time, I took my car to fix the airbag light and renew MOT. They kept the car for two days and ended up failing the MOT and gave me a phone number to call as they couldn't fix the light !! What's ironic is that they charged me labour for two days and I was in a hurry to go to work so had no time to argue .This time my partner MISTAKENGLY took our other car to the same garage and car stayed there for two days again just to fit a battery and allegedly fix a leaking servo they claimed it existed, car came back and boot and roof not working though they were fine beforehand! They charged just under 400 pounds to fit a battery not worth more than 50 quid and screwed the boot and roof! When I went to talk to Martin he was so rude and said I have to pay to fix what they have damaged ! My case is now in the hands of trading standards and we definitely are alerting everyone. AVOID AVOID AVOID .
Martin is the best person to go to to have your car repaired or serviced. His opinion is honest, prices are good and he will always go the extra mile to help you or give a better service
Friendly garage.Very helpful. Got my work done very fast and I will keep them as my regular from now on.Very pleased.
Had a loose battery connection.Tried to charge me nearly 400 quid for a new alternator and battery (both fine according to two other local garages) and tried to talk me into a cam belt on top. Thank Christ for second opinions. Final cost 60 - for the time to diagnose the REAL issue at Lowestoft car and commercial.Maybe I was unlucky, be careful.
