What an awesome, welcoming, spirit filled church. Went there on Sunday for my first time and loved it. The teaching, the worship, man it was amazing.

Someone once told me that you don't 'go to church ' because you are the church, you go to a meeting. That pretty well describes LCC...it is a church not a building. It's a group of people all at different stages on their faith journey, wanting to reflect God's love and grace both in their lives and in the communities they live in.It's vibrant and fun and often challenging and doesn't always fit the more traditional view of church but one things for sure...it's never boring! The worship is lively, the preaching is above average and the service format is relatively informal. It has a passionate children's and young people's team and has a strong social conscience being involved in a load of community projects both here and in other countries.So is it perfect? No! The communion wine is good old christian grape juice , which I have mastered the art of pretending to drink, the preaching can be a bit hit and miss occasionally, but mainly hit and I don't always want to hug and pray with the person next to me ( to be fair that doesn't happen very often!)It's a big church , with a very diverse make up which is good as you are bound to find someone you like! but on a serious note , everyone there is learning what it means to be 'the church ' together.Is it for you? You will have to decide that. If you want to find out a bit more about who Jesus is, or just want to come to have a look one Sunday or are looking for a church family to become part of, I would recommend you put LCC on your ' possibles' list.( The views expressed in this review are my own personal subjective opinions)
We are so at home at LCC, we feel part of the family, welcomed just as we are. Our children love coming along, the children's work is fantastic!
