Visited the Dorothy Perkins (DP) section here today. The store itself is well laid out, clean and welcoming, what makes this 5 stars for me was the lady who served me (at the DP till) She is such a lovely person and a true credit to DP, she couldnt of been more helpful and friendly if she tried she is clearly very good at her job which, Im sure, at times can be quite challenging as most customer facing jobs are. We had a lovely chat while she was helping me with my purchases and because of her I will most definitely be returning to the store. I would highly recommend going there to anyone who is looking for something nice to wear (as the clothes are great) but if, like me, you love a bit of good customer service you will be going to the right place - she absolutely made mine & my daughters day. This is by far the easiest 5 stars Ive ever given

We go to palmers cafe every week and enjoy coffee and cakes served in welcoming atmosphere but today was awful. There was a lack of staff, queues which had elderly standing for sometime and although the staff offered table service they were obviously bothered that their service was not as good as usual. When i asked why they were so short staffed i was told a trial was taking place to see how it worked with less staff. I can tell you it doesnt. We will be going somewhere else if it doesnt go back to how it was.
Lovely lunchtime spent here with my partner, tasty meal at competitive prices.The quiche was superb! Well done
