Handy little shop usually get what I want, staff always helpful
Good selection of games, however, they should remove items from the browsable shelves, that are temporarily out of stock, instead of waiting for you to take a game that you want, to the till only for them to say "It has been Christmas, so our shelves are empty, as you can see". The discs are behind the counter so this was not obvious until I was ready to commit to a purchase.
We were greeted at the door by a member of staff who was polite and friendly (without any kind of sales pitch, that I found refreshing) the shop was packed out so I found it a bit claustrophobic (hence the loss of a star). The prices seemed to be reasonable and they had a good variance with the stock on display.
A fantastic range of gaming equipment , used and new. Plus staff are friendly and welcoming and have a vast knowledge about the gaming community. One down side though. I bought three games and paid extra disk cover without being asked if I wanted it. But on the whole a fast and reliable service.
I'm never ordering online to collect from store again. I've always looked at Game as the go to place until today. Customer service skills were none existent. Was like I was talking to a grumpy young brother. More importantly came to collect my item I ordered. I was asked to supply my order number and some ID which is fine then they wanted to see my card details which paid for the item, okay here's the bank card. No wasn't enough ID for them. I had to show them my emails of which confirm my card, My address, my ID and my order number. Still not enough Apparently, with my item right Infront of me on the desk clearly showing my order number and details on it, I was asked to sign into my online banking to show my full card details as if everything else wasn't enough. Then eventually someone else came along and said yeah that's enough ID. No apologie for making me feel like I'm not who I say I am. All they kept saying was it's our policy. It's your policy to interrogate people to show you their online banking. Get some staff training.
