Well I go to this school and it's great lol
New term has just started and the care my three children have received is exemplary. The Headteacher is always on hand welcoming everyone and the teachers of each of my children looked genuinely pleased to see them. This school is in a tricky catchment and gets a bad press sometimes - which is unfair. I highly recommend the school.
I cant speak highly enough of Poplars, my two children are very happy there and communication between teaching staff and myself is open, positive and friendly. Standard of education is high, buildings are light and airy, all conducive to the high standard of teaching offered there.
Disgusting school....my 8 year old daughter in yr 3 was threatened by two year 4 boys with knives at dinner time and no teachers did anything. They have no respect for parents they don't teach the children respect, the behaviour of some of the kids there is appalling. Refused to do my daughters medication which resulted in her having to be taken out of school so she could have her medication! The list is endless. I pulled bothy kids out today for good for their own safety! Ofsted, will be notified
The way they treat parents is disgusting they want to keep you out of the school I had to remove my son and talk to ex teaching assistants who had to leave as head was unbearable the head of pastoral team asked one parent if her 7 year old needed a sex toy and a over freindly deputy head this school has issues.i cannot pit my finger on it but this is a bad school if your face dont fit
