Such a lovely pub to go to with the family with a great atmosphere! On Boxing Day, it is definitely the place to be! I also had my 21st birthday party here a few years back and couldnt fault it! Definitely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you!
Regular customer with my dog. Excellent staff and owners. Always welcome. Fantastic screens to watch the sports and always busy, especially the function room throughout the year. Customers in everynight of the week and the beer garden is lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere and wouldn't drink anywhere else.
I have to say The King Alfred & Alfies is an excellent family pub. The toilets are decorated 5 star. The bar staff are friendly and helpful and there is nothing the landlord and landlady wont do to make you welcome. Dogs are welcome and the sky sports and many televisions is an excellent place to socialise and enjoy their many selections of beer and drinks. Children welcome and Alfies function room is booked every weekend throughout the year. I live close and work for the government where many customers gather. Darts and pool table is spacious and is clean, warm and inviting. One of the best pubs in Lowestoft and looking forward to Christmas and New Year as the owners really go to town with a 12 foot Christmas tree and fun and games throughout the day and night. The World Cup was packed offering 2 pints of beer as to keep hydrated while watching the game! I am proud to say it is my local pub and the fundraising they have done over the years is excellent. Heres to many happy times in The King Alfred xxx
