Worse management of any surgery I have been with, from trying to get appointment through to screwing up repeat prescriptions etc.
Impossible to book an appointment and receptionists dont seem to have a clue about anything medical.Rang everyday at 8am to book an appointment with no luck. Ended up running out of anti depressants and had to ring for an emergency at 11:30am. Receptionist didnt seem to understand the severity of missing anti depressants and told me to ring back on Monday or whenever my next day off is, she didnt care at all and got annoyed at me. Absolutely appalling service.
Getting an apointment is a shambles. No wonder the hospitals are under pressure, people are having to use them for care due to practices like these.
Haven't been able to get appointment to see a doctor since the 3rd September. Due to my illness I'm not always able to phone and make appointment on the day in time. Unless I stay awake all night. It was better when you could pre book. They also at times refuse my thyroid meds. As they say our records show I've not had blood test. 10 times I've phoned and told them it's done through the the hospital. It's dangerous to just stop medications. Don't actually have a gp any more as he just up and left. So it's pot luck if you can get an appointment that is
Beyond Bad! Crestview sent me a text yesterday asking me to text back to confirm I still want to receive text messages (new Data Protection Ruling). Their text was sent from NHS No reply so guess what, it won't let you text back! So I send an email to their email listed on the text and guess what, I get a reply saying the email account isn't monitored! They say I should call the surgery! When I do actually need an appointment, I can never get through as the lines are always permanently busy so if you think I'm going to waste an hour of my life trying to get through just to tell you the send me a text forget it! Do not waste patients time asking them to text you back when its not possible to do so!
