Used hoseasons to book a 2 night stay in a Lodge with hot tub at Solway Village in the Lake District. Upon arrival, we unpacked and went to use the hot tub... which was stone cold! After phoning reception, they stated that due to them cleaning the units after every use, it just doesnt have enough time to heat back up. I tried complaining to hoseasons, and asked why I wasnt being charged for just a lodge, when I was told that they dont offer refunds and that the ts&cs explained that the hot tubs may not be fit for use on the first day. Hoseasons were satisfied that my payment for lodge with hot tub was still appropriate, and were happy with the fact I was unable to use the facility for the first day (50% of my whole time actually booked). When I asked for a late checkout to be arranged so we could make more use of the hot tub, it was declined.Seems like theyre happy to take your money, but not give your moneys worth in service and standards.I would however, like to thank hoseasons for this- as I now know to NEVER book anything with them again.

After being a regular customer for a number of years I would of expected better customer services. Booked my break away to find out 3 days later price had significantly gone down. Made contact told nothing guys could do and was infact the holiday park who had adjusted the price. Well that was a lie and neither me or the holiday park are impressed. Say anything to get you off the phone once they realise they already have your money. Won't be booking again.

Hoseasons have ruined my booked family weekend holiday and broken my kids hearts.Booked for Western Wood Lodges in derby -400 for a weekend - arrived to site on Friday to check in, they took a further 100 deposit for the key - we were told not to use the hot tub until Saturday as it needed to warm up - got to the lodge and the hot tub was turned off and locked off - so they knew it wasnt going to be working on Saturday! (Just wanted us to stay the first night so we couldnt get the 100% refund). The lodge stunk of damp as soon as we walked in the door, the door between the bathroom and elec mains room fell and hit me on the head (good job it was me and not the kids), the wardrobe was broken and there was electrical sockets with holes in the boxes big enough for the kids to put their fingers in and electrocute themselves! So rang hoseasons who tried to relocate us but were unable to. So we asked if we could stay for the night and relocate in the morning as it was 9pm and our kids are 3, to which we were told if we stayed we could only get 50% refund, so we travelled home with the kids distraught and crying. We were also told if we found another hoseasons holiday we would get the difference paid .... another lie! So we got home and searched the internet to try and find another holiday so when the kids woke up we could give them the good news and so we booked for The Manor Resort in Lincolnshire, which cost 547 for 2 nights.I then had to ring hoseasons Saturday morning (even though they said they were ringing me first thing) and I explained what had happened and that weve booked another holiday. They said they could refund the full amount for the derby site but not the difference we had to pay for the new one wed had to book due to the appalling situation at the Derby site. So, trying not to ruin the kids weekend we decided to pick up the situation with Hoseasons on Tuesday after our new holiday. So travelled to Lincolnshire (2 hour drive for us).We arrived to The Manor Resort and were told even though Hoseasons had taken our booking and our money, that they had no availabilities and they dont understand how hoseasons could have taken the booking!!!! Absolutely shocked we rang hoseasons to be told they are really sorry but there was nothing they could do about it , however, I would get fully refunded for the holiday - but would take management to sign it off on Monday as no management work at weekends, then itll take 3-5 working days to get my money back - over 1000 NOW!So the kids were absolutely heart broken and inconsolable purely down to Hoseasons incompetence! I find it amazing how NO management work weekends and its left to people on the other end of the phone who havent got any ability to make decisions without management signing it off. Now our kids have travelled to derby and back AND lincoln and back - roughly 6 hours in the car - and had no holiday which they were really looking forward. Not only that, as Hoseasons were holding my money (over 1000) we couldnt afford to do anything else over the weekend so sat at home watching films and playing board games when they should be on holiday playing on the site and in and out the hot tub which we had booked for.Whilst waiting for hoseasons to ring us back on Friday night I started reading the reviews for Western Wood Lodges, Derby .. and I dont know how on earth they havent been closed down and my only advice to anyone thinking of booking to this site would be ..... please read the reviews before you book .... your only going to be disappointed and have a ruined holiday.Furthermore, I fail to see how Hoseasons, who must have read these reviews havent investigated this site, as they are advertising this health hazard!I must finally conclude, The Manor Resort in Lincolnshire looked fantastic and the manager there Steph was incredibly helpful.I wonder in any management will actually read this review and do anything about the issues???

Made a cottage booking, and 2 hours later needed to cancel, and was charged 15 - not a great way to encourage repeat business!

Hoseasons can cancel your booking anytime they want without you having anything to say about it! Beware! It is the first time I have tried booking a lodge with Hoseasons, so I had no idea what to expect. I searched online with a friend, we both took time of work and planned the holiday with the kids. We found a nice lodge, Axbridge Lodge in Cornwall for a reduced price as special offer for the Easter weekend. We paid, we received a confirmation email and Invoice.Much to my surprise, they call me the next evening to tell me they made a mistake in the price, it actually cost triple what we paid for it!They cancelled against my wishes, refunded me the money and gave me absolutely no alternative.Beware! In their T&Cs they state they can cancel or change your booking at any time they want if they made a mistake. (Clause 8). The fact that you have a binding contract with them in a written confirmation means nothing to them. No customer care and absolutely no interest in customer needs!I will go and spend the 841 they tell me the lodge is worth on a nice holiday in Spain!
