We love this campsite, we have camped here 3 times over the years. Staff are friendly, facilities are clean and pitches are maintained well. Decent sized pitch and never over crowded. It's quiet so you can sleep at night, all campers seem respectful to each other too. Good check in and out time! Dog friendly. The wind turbines we find very relaxing! I like the fact that there are no club houses or bars etc so it's a relaxed campsite. You can hear the animals from Africa alive too! Ideal location near to local supermarkets, kessingland beach, Africa alive and can access Yarmouth and other beaches if you fancy going a bit further. This is our favourite campsite out of all the ones we have been to so will definitely go next year!

Children's park is a bit scarce, facilities are very clean but dated. Rules of not leaving campsite until after 7am should be looked at. Totally understand not entering until after then but if you want to plan an early start whether for a day out or back home this isn't really appropriate. Once you've paid you shouldn't be trapped somewhere not being allowed to leave.

Simple but great site, staff are very friendly and the showers and toilets are nice and clean. Also a lovely area with beaches and Africa alive right next door. We stayed in the safari tents which were lovely. Would definitely go there again.

One of the best campsites I have ever stayed at. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, the kids loved the fact that there is a zoo next door and that they could go as often as they liked. Highly recommended and we will look to go again.

Spent 5 nights at this site and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and could not do enough to make your stay better. The site was immaculate as were the shower/toilet facilities. Everything you needed was to hand.Would highly recommend this site for all year round camping. NOTE: On the day of departure, after spending 2 hours packing the tent/equipment into your car for departure on a hot sunny day and due to having to leave the site by 12 noon the facilities are closed from 10.30 - 11.30 thus not leaving enough time for a much needed shower for your homeward journey , the one Disabled shower facility maybe free to use though on this occasion for us it was occupied.
