Small site with easy access to the beach. Dog friendly. Probably too quiet for young children. Eateries within short walk.

We have just stayed several days on this site and have once again been very happy with the cleanliness of the site and facilities. The staff were also very welcoming and polite. We were surprised that one toilet block was still shut after a year or more, making it necessary for people to walk up to the back of the site to the other toilet. A difficult walk for some.We like to use the beach site as I am disabled and like to watch the Sea as I expect others do. It would really help if a disability friendly shower and toilet room was built on the beach site as there is plenty of room.

First time at this camp site and would definitely come back again. Lovely and quiet and kept very tidy. Shower block cleaned regularly everyday and again very clean. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Couldn't find any fault at all.

Good campsite, main letdown is the smell of sewers throughout the entire site, which put us off staying another night (we stayed for 2). Other than that, facilities were clean, as is to be expected in caravan and motorhome club sites, and the spacing is also fairly generous. Overall a nice site which is made hard to recommend due to a nearby sewage plant, and the smell it produces.

Just returned home after a few days here. MUCH better welcome and attitude in the site office, compared to a very sour welcome last year. This time really friendly and helpful. Lovely little site near seafront. Small village with a pub and restaurant with Fish and chip shop nearby. Nice quiet walking area and a short drive from the beautiful Southwold The shower block is clean and adequate, not as nice as some other sites but fine when we were there, and never had to queue. My only point would be that if you want children to obey rules then have big enough signs to read. The area by the washing facilities and shower block is supposed to be out of bounds to bikes, skateboards and balls. When we were there the children didn't do any harm riding up there but to be fair they probably didn't notice the minuscule signs. We came in school holidays so bound to be a lot of kids about. Parents need to be more vigilant with them though.
