Cannot be trusted.Like many of the other negative reviews on here, I shared a similar experience. I was quoted an 80 'fault finding' fee to look at an issue with our car. No other charges would be added unless I authorised them - that's what I was told. After two weeks of delays, I was told that they were going to charge me for parts that they had replaced, whilst admitting that the original parts were in working order. I complained and so put the original works parts back in and reduced the charge. They appear to like to try it on.I was then given a 300+ bill for labour. After complaining and stating that I had not authorised any other charges, the bill was reduced to 160. I then received a call telling me that the bill was back up, this time to 190.After further conversations the bill was reduced back down again to 160 again however still not the 80 that I was originally quoted.My suggestion is find an independent garage. If not, deal with them purely through e-mails and get everything in writing. Unfortunately these people cannot be trusted. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Great motorcycle department. Extremely helpful when trying to source parts for an older bike. The clothing is great here too.

Recently purchased a new Motorcycle from Lings - Sales Executive was Emily Tanner. A very smooth transition and a pleasure to communicate with. Advice was spot on. I advised Emily that one of my concerns with purchasing from Motor Traders was the after sales care, but Emily offered assurance that the after sales of Lings Motorcycle department was excellent, for example if I have any issues with the bike to call and all issues are dealt with at Lings; even offered to return me home on the event that the bike has to stay on site including for servicings with the 3 year service plan! I have no reason to doubt this. Thank you Emily!
I bought a bike from this lot at the beginning of may and I must say they were excellent at selling the bike to me. But when the bike went wrong the customer service was absolutely shocking. The bike has since been collected by them and I have asked for a full refund. Its now been about five weeks since they took the bike back and still no refund. You can never get in contact with the manager and its impossible to get the facts on what is actually going on with this situation. Very poor service I would never buy anything from these ever again. This experience has completely ruined my trust for main dealers I dont want to buy another bike because Im scared that this will happen all over again. People like this should be out of businesse.
